CE Testing

European regulations state all toys – or items that can be seen as toys must reach EN71 safety certification.  The peg dolls are made using a solid piece of untreated beech wood. Dolls are painted using paints and sealant that all conform to EN71-3 standards. These dolls carry the toy safety CE / UKCA mark and are suitable for small hands although not suitable for under 36 months due to choke risk. At The Peg Basket, I consider safety of my products paramount. I ensure all of my items comply with the CE/ UKCA testing regulations.  I never add additional materials to my designs such as felt, clay or fabric unless ordered, this ensures that each doll is only ever one single complete piece. This greatly reduces the risk of choking and offers piece of mind for parents, teachers and caregivers alike. And I can rest easy in the knowledge that no small parts can be pulled off my peg doll creation by little fingers.

Not suitable for children under 36 months due to choke risk.
